Rumor: HTC Ocean Note To Feature A Top Of The Line Camera

The HTC Ocean Note is shaping up to be a really interesting smartphone, at least according to rumors. Some new info surfaced, and seemingly revealed some spec info when it comes to HTC’s upcoming flagship. According to the source, the phone will sport a great camera, in fact, they say that it will have the highest DxOMark score to date, and that it will trump even the Google Pixel in that regard. That’s not all, though, read on.

In addition to having a compelling main camera, the source also says that the phone will sport with a Type-C USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack, which was to be expected, but it’s still nice to hear. The device will, allegedly, ship in Black, White and Blue color variants, and it will offer two SIM card slots, but only one will be capable of achieving 4G LTE connection it seems, at least if the source is to be believed. The HTC X10 has also been mentioned by the source, as they claim that HTC’s upcoming mid-ranger might ship with the Helio P15 SoC and 3GB of RAM, while they add that they’re still unsure which smartphone is HTC planning to launch on January 12th.

Those of you who are unaware, HTC had teased the January 12th launch event recently, and it’s rather obvious they are planning to launch a new smartphone, but we still don’t know which one. A recent rumor said that the company plans to introduce three new smartphones in the first quarter of this year, and that one of them will be HTC’s upcoming flagship, the rumored HTC Ocean aka HTC 11. The name of the device is still unknown, but as you can see, the HTC Ocean Note is also being rumored, and if previous info is to be believed, this could be a larger variant of the HTC Ocean, even though it’s possible we’re looking at the same phone here, these are rumors we’re talking about, after all. In any case, you can expect HTC’s new flagship to ship with compelling specs, and chances are it will be called the HTC 11, not the HTC Ocean or HTC Ocean Note, but we’re only guessing at this point.
