T-Mobile Launches One Plus International For $25 A Line

T-Mobile has launched One Plus International, a new version of the already existing One Plus add-on that was announced back at the end of August. At that time and for the past few months, the One Plus add-on was costing subscribers a $25 monthly fee per line for users that wanted the benefits of the offer. Today, the new One Plus International add-on costs $25 a month per line, while the original One Plus add-on has now been bumped down in cost to just $15 a month per line. While the majority of the services tend to be the same between the two versions, there are obvious benefits to paying the additional $10 a month.

For those that choose to pick One Plus International, they will still get all of the access to things like the Gogo Full Flight unlimited Wi-Fi, as well as double the data speeds abroad, voicemail to text, Name ID, and unlimited HD day passes for when they need to stream video. They will also be able to call landlines in over 70 different countries as well as place mobile calls in over 30 countries, and all of those voice calls are unlimited. Lastly it also adds unlimited use of the 4G LTE Hotspot, so if you tend to prefer sharing your own internet with your other devices instead of latching on to the Wi-Fi at airports or other places while traveling then the One Plus International add-on allows for that.

The international calling is simply the ability to call from the U.S. to the listed number of countries for landline or mobile, and is not international roaming, so customers will want to be aware of that if they haven’t already clarified that detail with their local T-Mobile representatives. Since One Plus has been out since earlier this year around the end of the Summer, any customers who have had added on at the $25 price point will be switched over to the International add-on automatically, although it’s quite likely that T-mobile will allow customers to make the choice to stick with One Plus and simply pay a smaller amount per line each month. Those that choose to stay paying the $25 a month per line will see changes at the start of the next billing cycle following today’s date, so depending on when your next bill cycle is the features may kick in sooner than later.
