CES 2017: IFROGZ Unveils The Impulse Bluetooth Headphones

CES is a time when many companies unveil their latest tech, and IFROGZ has just announced their newest set of wireless headphones – the Impulse. These of course connect to your device through Bluetooth technology, although they do also offer the option to connect to your mobile devices through the use of a 3.5mm audio jack which helps to save on battery life for both the headphones as well as your smartphone or tablet. Since Bluetooth headphones are designed to be portable, the Impulse will be easily storable after you fold the earcups up towards the headband, which should make them space saving if you frequently stuff these in your bag to take them with you. There are also easy access controls for volume, power, and music playback on the ear.

The Impulse will be offered in two different colors, a Black model and a White model, each having their own unique accent color details on the earcups as well as on the underside of the headband. Although many pairs of Bluetooth headphones can be expensive, the IFROGZ Impulse are meant to be more affordable and will only cost $59.99, setting them up on the market to be more competitive with other pairs of headphones that are often sold at a higher premium price, which can typically reach costs of $150 or more.

The Impulse feature an on-ear design instead of an over-ear design so they won’t completely cover your ears, which might normally allow for sound to creep in, but the Impulse are designed with passive noise isolation so you can block ambient noise out. In addition to this, the Impulse boast a battery life of up to 12 hours on a single charge, although it’s likely that this will vary based on how loud the volume is, how often you use the passive noise isolation, and how often you fidget with the controls. IFROGZ will have the Impulse Wireless Headphones up for sale as of today and they’ll be sold at ZAGG’s official website. There are no other retailers mentioned at this time, so it’s currently unknown if ZAGG has plans to make these available through other stores or online shops.
