The Elephone P25 is right around the corner, and according to a new report, it will ship with 6GB of RAM. This is not the first time that the name ‘Elephone P25’ has surfaced, the device was briefly mentioned by rumors back in November, and it seems like it will not only come with 6GB of RAM, but will also be fueled by the Helio P25 64-bit octa-core processor by MediaTek, which is not exactly a surprise considering its name.
Now, if the previous info is to be believed, this smartphone will come in a Mocha Gold color, though chances are that won’t be the only color variant of this smartphone, as a newly leaked image suggests. In addition to some info about the Elephone P25, you can also see the device’s back side, well, the upper portion of its back side. As you can see, the camera sensor on the back of this smartphone seems to be quite large, though we still don’t know what camera to expect here. In any case, the dual-LED, dual tone flash will be placed below its rear-facing camera sensor, and you can also see antenna bands in this image. The phone will be made out of metal, and interestingly enough, we don’t really see any side buttons in this image, which either means they’re placed lower on the phone’s sides, or they’re simply not included here as this seems to be just a showcase render of the phone.
Now, according to previous info, the Elephone P25 will sport a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, while you can also expect it to ship with 64GB of native storage. The phone will also come with a rather large battery pack it seems, though we still don’t know how large will its battery be. Now, as some of you might know, this is not the only Elephone-branded smartphone that we’re expecting to land in the coming weeks / months, the Elephone S8 is also expected to arrive, and if leaks are to be believed, that phone will resemble the Xiaomi Mi MIX quite a bit. The Elephone S7 resembled the Galaxy S7 Edge, and it seems like its successor got its inspiration from Xiaomi’s concept phablet.
