Flappy Bird developer Dong Nguyen launched Ninja Spinki Challenges, his latest mobile game for Android smartphones and tablets. As its name suggests, Ninja Spinki Challenges is a collection of mini-games featuring a ninja setting. The game sports six challenge types and countless variations of the thereof. All mini-games are relatively straightforward and accessible, but mastering them will still require a lot of patience and great reflexes. In other words, Ninja Spinki Challenges is conceptually similar to Flappy Bird as both games are easy to start playing but hard to let go and even harder to master. Still, unlike Nguyen’s mobile hit, Ninja Spinki Challenges is suitable for playing on the go even if you’re incredibly good at it as most challenges can be completed in ten seconds or less and if they aren’t, you’ve likely already failed anyway.
Mini-games mostly require you to either avoid certain objects or hit certain objects. The learning curve becomes quite steep after about a dozen levels, but that’s still enough time to get the hang of the game. Once single player challenges become too tough for you to handle, you can opt to watch a short video ad to earn the right to continue the level after you’ve failed the first time. The single player campaign features a large number of mini-games but Ninja Spinki Challenges also has a multiplayer component as it allows you to take on any challenge in the Endless mode and then post your scores online. Apart from global leaderboards, the game also boasts the ability to share scores using the Android system menu. In overall, Ninja Spinki Challenges appeals to a rather large audience as it offers something for everyone. The game has the potential to be both challenging and relaxing and is worth giving a shot if you’re on the lookout for another casual time waster.
Ninja Spinki Challenges started rolling out on Wednesday and should already be available worldwide. The current version of the game contains ads but features no in-app purchases and is available for download from the Google Play Store free of charge. Ninja Spinki Challenges is only a few megabytes in size and is compatible with most devices running Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread and newer.
