Klipsch Debuts Luxurious Heritage Headphones

Earlier today, an American audio equipment manufacturer Klipsch debuted luxurious Heritage headphones at CES. The headphones are made from a combination of wood, leather, and copper. Klipsch opted to equip its latest product with machined copper accents and flexible leather to produce a pair of headphones that visually resembles the company’s lineup of loudspeakers. Klipsch is promising this device is capable of delivering premium audio quality on both sides of the sound spectrum without making any compromises. The Heritage headphones will be available in three variants in the coming months, but there’s still no word on an official release date. Likewise, Klipsch has yet to reveal pricing details of its latest product.

The Heritage headphones boast microbial cellulose drivers designed for maximum comfort. This rare natural fiber has a diameter of only 20 nanometers, meaning it’s thinner than a strand of human hair. Coupled with flexible diaphragms, this design choice results in a premium user experience seeing how it makes the Heritage headphones both sturdy and comfortable. The Indianapolis-based company is quick to point out that its latest offering features zero plastic materials, unlike most other headphones on the market.

The Heritage headphones are the most recent addition to the company’s well-known Heritage lineup of audio products. Judging from Klipsch’s promotional materials, the main selling point of this product is its premium design. That isn’t to say the Heritage headphones won’t deliver premium sound quality, just that they’re trying to stand out from the competition by looking and feeling like a superior product. Given the company’s loyal following and a long track record of delivering high-quality audio offerings, that strategy may pay off in the end. A wired version of the Heritage headphones is expected to hit the market in the coming months. While the Indianapolis-based company is yet to disclose its pricing details, it’s reasonable to presume that this pair of headphones won’t be cheap by any standard. An even more expensive, wireless variant of the Heritage headphones is also in the works and should be available for purchase at some point this year. The company revealed how this version will boast noise cancellation capabilities and promised that more information will follow soon.
