Lenovo's Tango-Enabled PHAB 2 Pro Phablet Launched In India

Lenovo has just announced the Lenovo PHAB 2 Pro in India. As many of you already know, the Lenovo PHAB 2 Pro is a Tango-enabled smartphone, which essentially means it comes with some AR (Augmented Reality) features / capabilities. This phablet was originally introduced back in June last year, and it landed in the US at the end of 2016. Well, the phone is now official in India as well, and it’s the same device that was introduced in the US. The Lenovo PHAB 2 Pro is a large device, no doubt about it, this phablet sports a 6.4-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass display, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage. The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 652 64-bit octa-core processor, along with the Adreno 510 GPU. On the back of the Lenovo PHAB 2 Pro, you’ll be able to find a 16-megapixel camera (PDAF) with depth and motion tracking sensors which are making AR possible. An 8-megapixel shooter (f/2.2 aperture, 1.4um pixel size) is placed on the front side of this smartphone, and a fingerprint scanner is also a part of this package, it is placed on the back of the PHAB 2 Pro. This smartphone comes with the Dolby Atmos sound (5.1 audio capture included), while it has several microphones with active noise-cancellation. The 4,050mAh battery (fast charging included) is also included in this package, and the device comes with a hybrid dual SIM setup, which means that you can use either two nano SIM cards, or a nano SIM card + a microSD card for storage expansion.

The Lenovo PHAB 2 Pro ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, while you’re also getting 4G LTE with VoLTE here. This phablet measures 179.83 x 88.57 x 6.98-10.7mm, while it weighs 259 grams. The device comes in a Champagne Gold color variant only, and it costs Rs. 29,990 ($440) in India.
