New Bluetooth Speakers Unveiled From 808 Audio

Bluetooth speakers and earbuds are all the rage this year, especially since manufacturers are beginning to slowly eliminate the 3.5mm headphone jack in smartphones. Some of the elimination is due to the slim design factor, while other explanations go back to the manufacturers’ decision – possibly a cost cutting measure or freeing up the inside of the device for other components. Whatever the reason, 808 Audio, a brand of VOXX, announced a new lineup of Bluetooth speakers at CES along with a pair of wireless earbuds. There is a style to fit most people’s tastes, whether it be a formal function at home, a frat party at college, or a leisurely day at the beach and they are affordably priced for the sound that they offer.

First up is their CANZ GLO speaker for only $39.99 that comes encased in a metal cabinet and adds life to the party with its glow in the dark design. The design of the CANZ GLO adds to its exception bass qualities and gives you 6 hours of playback time. If you want a little more from your speaker, the $49.99 CANZ H2O adds an IP67 rating for water, dust, and sand. It is perfect for a beach party or simply relaxing on the beach, and it will yield you up to 8 hours of playtime, and it even floats.

808 has also updated their HEX line of speakers with the HEX TLS for $59.99 and their HEX TLS H20 for $79.99. The design is a small aluminum body with dual-speakers and a bass radiator to increase the bass sound. The HEX TLS H20 also offers up IP67 certification and both offer up to 8 hours of listening power. The $79.99 XS SPORT 2 gets an IP67 waterproof upgrade this year and rubber shock bumpers that wrap around the unit to provide protection should it be dropped. It is a rectangular design with dual stereo speakers and a bass radiator. It is ideal to take on a hiking expedition and will provide up to 8 hours of listening.

If you want to make an impact at the block party, you need a new ENCORE for $149.99 or an ENCORE XL for $399.99. Their multi-colored LED light display will really catch people’s attention while the ENCORE’s 50 watts of power with 50 hours of rechargeable battery life will keep the party going long into the night. The ENCORE XL boasts 4 x 100 watts of power, and each has built-in handles. There is even a spot to plug in an SD card or USB drive to listen to your favorite music. Multiple microphone inputs will allow your guests to sing along with the music.

808 also revealed their new wireless streaming Turntable for $149.99 with 10 LED lights that can be adjusted for your mood – Chill, Dance, Party, or Zen. They are also offering up two new EAR CANZ ear buds – the $49.99 EAR CANZ Sport and the $79.99 EAR CANZ TRU. The Sport model is designed for workouts and has a sweat-proof design that firmly attaches to the ear and gives you up to 9 hours of listening pleasure. The TRU is designed for music listening or receiving phone calls and has a 3-hour playing time.
