T-Mobile & MetroPCS Welcome the LG Aristo to their Lineup

Both T-Mobile and MetroPCS announced that they are adding the LG Aristo to their lineup. The new smartphone will be available from both carriers later this month. The LG Aristo will arrive at MetroPCS on January 23rd and will cost $59 after an instant rebate. Over at T-Mobile, the LG Aristo will arrive on January 25th and will cost $0 down and $6/month for 24 months, or you can pick it up at full retail price of $144. Additionally, T-Mobile will be offering a Tech21 case and screen protector for the LG Aristo for 25% off, when a customer buys them together.

Specs-wise, the LG Aristo is definitely a mid-range, and in some cases a low-end, smartphone. It’s sporting a 5-inch 1280×720 resolution display, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor along with 1.5GB of RAM. There is 16GB of on-board storage, and if that wasn’t enough, there is also a micro SD card slot for expanding the storage available. LG has added a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for taking those all-important selfies. The LG Aristo has a 2410mAh battery inside and it is running Android 7.0 Nougat, making it the first Nougat-powered device to launch on MetroPCS. Finally, there is a fingerprint sensor found on the backside of the LG Aristo, so you can keep your device and all of its content safe and secure.

The LG Aristo isn’t the most impressive device available on T-Mobile, but for its price, it does have a whole lot going for it. The Aristo will definitely appeal to those that are looking for a simple phone to check their email, text their friends and family and play the occasional game or two on. Which the Aristo will do well with those tasks. It’s not aimed at hardcore or power users, as you can tell by the specs.
