This Could Be The First Official Look At The LG G6

This could be the first reported look of the LG G6, LG’s next flagship that is set to make its debut at Mobile World Congress next month. While the two images here don’t show a full view of the entire body of the phone from the front or the back, the image does look quite a bit like some of the most recent leaks, like those in the images of the Ghostek LG G6 case which show off bits and pieces of the phone.

In those image you can’t see the front-facing camera or the two sensors just to the left of the earpiece, which are shown here, but the earpiece looks exactly the same and the phone in this image very clearly shows a metal frame with the volume up and volume down buttons on the left hand side of the device. These buttons are in the same spot in the Ghostek case images. Since the back is not visible here, though, it’ still not entirely clear whether or not the LG G6 will feature a glass back with a non-removable battery like some of the rumors are stating, as the Ghostek case images seem to show what looks like it could be metal used for the material. The color used here for the G6 seems to show a Gunmetal Grey, which is a bit darker it seems than the renders from the case leak, so that suggests that LG will have a Gunmetal Grey and likely a Silver color of the device.

The LG G6 is to come with a 5.7-inch display using the panel that LG officially unveiled earlier this month but no other specs are said to be confirmed at the moment. The phone is rumored to come with Google Assistant or Amazon’s Alexa software support, which would make it the second phone to come with Alexa and the third phone to come with Google Assistant. This image shows that the G6 will have some very narrow bezels on the sides as well as the top of the display, and it’s likely that bezels will be just as narrow on the bottom, although there will be no way to know for sure until LG unveils the phone next month on February 26th.
