New Nokia 8 aka Nokia Supreme real life images surfaced, along with two new videos. If you take a look at the gallery and the embedded videos down below, you’ll get to see Nokia’s alleged flagship, the Nokia 8. The first video clip shows off the Nokia 8 that was spotted at CES 2017 once again, though this is new content compared to what we’ve seen yesterday. This video clip shows us a comparison between the Snapdragon 835-powered Nokia 8, and its Snapdragon 821 variant. The second video clip is actually also assembled from a number of images, and thanks to these, we get to see both the front and back side of the Nokia 8. Now, the device shown off in the second video clip is somewhat different than the one that leaked yesterday it seems, read on.
The Nokia 8 actually popped up yesterday as well in one single image, and we didn’t really get to see that many details about the phone. It was mentioned yesterday that the phone will launch in two variants, powered by the Snapdragon 835 and Snapdragon 821, respectively. Well, if you take a look at the second video clip down below, you’ll notice that there’s quite a bit of plastic on this variant of the device, and it is possible that this is the Snapdragon 821-powered Nokia 8 variant. That video was filmed before Nokia 8 was shipped off to CES 2017, and the source claims the video was filmed in Russia, which could suggest that Nokia is planning to manufacture this handset in the country, but nothing has been confirmed just yet.
The Snapdragon 835-powered Nokia 8 is said to ship with 6GB of RAM and a 24-megapixel rear-facing camera with EIS 3.0. The Snapdragon 821 model, however, is rumored to pack in 4GB of RAM and an inferior camera. Both devices are probably going to launch in 64GB and 128GB storage flavors, and you’ll be able to expand their internal storage via a microSD card. The 5.7-inch QHD display is expected to be included as well, and the same can be said for Android 7.0 Nougat. Speaking of which, the Nokia 6 is actually running a CyanogenMod 14-based UI build, so it is possible that the Nokia 8 will come with a similar software offering. Nokia had already scheduled a press event for February 26th, so stay tuned.
