ZTE Blade V8 Pro Coming To The US, Priced At $229.98

At CES 2017 today, ZTE unveiled their latest smartphone which is en route to the US as the ZTE Blade V8 Pro. This is a smartphone which is due to become available by the end of January and will be sold as an unlocked smartphone. Best of all, this is a smartphone that is due to go on sale for only $229.98. Following the launch of the Blade V8 Pro in China and select parts of Europe, with the Blade V8 Pro now confirmed as coming to the US, this marks the first debut from ZTE’s popular Blade series of smartphones to become available to consumers in the US.

One of the big selling points with the Blade V8 Pro and certainly at this price point, is that it does come equipped with a dual rear camera setup, which consists of two 13-megapixel rear cameras. Accompanying the dual rear camera setup is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. As such, for a device that is priced at just under $230, this is going to be a smartphone that appeals to those looking for an inexpensive, but camera-capable, smartphone and especially for those who are looking for an unlocked device.

In terms of the rest of the specs, the ZTE Blade V8 Pro comes equipped with a 5.5-inch display and makes use of a Full HD resolution. Inside, the Blade V8 Pro comes loaded with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. This is also a smartphone that comes packing a fingerprint sensor, dual SIM support and support for expandable storage via microSD (up to 128GB). The Blade V8 Pro is powered by a 3,140 mAh battery and comes running on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box. As mentioned, this is a smartphone that is due to become available this month and for those looking to place an order early, ZTE has confirmed that pre-orders for the ZTE Blade V8 Pro actually go live today. Therefore, by the end of the day, the option to preorder the ZTE Blade V8 Pro for $229.98 should be available through ZTE’s official website, as well as other online retailers, including Amazon, B&H, and Newegg.
