Download: Stock Wallpapers from the LG G6

LG has just unveiled their newest flagship in Barcelona at Mobile World Congress, the LG G6. And now the wallpapers that come on this new smartphone are available for download, which you’ll find at the bottom of this post. These wallpapers are set to fit the LG G6’s weirdly tall display, so they are 2880×1440 as opposed to the 2560×1440 that most smartphones use for resolution these days. They will still fit most smartphones that have a 16:9 aspect ratio display, but some areas will be slightly cut off. There are ten wallpapers which you can see in the gallery below.

The LG G6 sports a 5.7-inch 2880×1440 resolution display in the same footprint as the 5.2-inch display that was on the G5 last year. Additionally, LG has thrown in the Snapdragon 821 processor along with 4GB of RAM for multi-tasking. There is also 32GB of internal storage, there will be a 64GB model, but it’s only available for certain markets (which LG has not yet detailed). LG has decided to get rid of the removable battery this time around, and instead stick a larger battery in the G6. Upping the capacity from 2800mAh to 3300mAh, which should get you through the entire day without needing to recharge. Of course, if you do need to recharge, you can do so quickly with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 being included in the LG G6.

Where LG hasn’t yet announced when the LG G6 will be available, this is the easiest way to get the look of the LG G6 onto your current smartphone. Some of these wallpapers do look quite nice, they are mostly minimal, but still bright and vibrant. The LG G6 was rumored to go on sale next month, but LG has said nothing officially, although carriers are announcing that they will be selling the device, so the official availability – at least in the US – shouldn’t be too far off. You can download the wallpapers for the LG G6 using the link down below, just remember that you will need to crop them for your device, and they are rather large.
