Several new Galaxy S8 real life images just surfaced, following an image that leaked earlier today. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll be able to see three new Galaxy S8 images, well, alleged Galaxy S8 images. These three images are showing off the Galaxy S8 from various angles, which gives us a better idea as to what the phone will look like. An image that surfaced this morning showed us Galaxy S8’s on-screen button, and the on-screen buttons strip, well, let’s take a closer look at its design, shall we.
Unfortunately, we don’t get to see the back side of the Galaxy S8 in these images, considering that today’s leak goes hand-in-hand with some recently leaked images of the phone’s back side, we pretty much know what to expect. This is quite probably the final design of the Galaxy S8, though nothing has been confirmed just yet. As you can see, this smartphone sports a curved display on the sides, and its bezels are extremely thin all around. The phone’s display is curved on the edges, and there are quite a few sensors placed on the front side of the device, it seven seems like there are two front-facing camera sensors up there, though we cannot know for sure, of course. One of the images reveals that the Type-C USB port will be placed on the bottom of the device, and that it will be flanked by a 3.5mm headphone jack, and the phone’s loudspeaker. The Galaxy S8’s power / lock key lies on the right side of the device, while its volume rocker keys and the dedicated Bixby AI button are placed on the left side.
Both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are expected to launch on March 29th, at least according to rumors, but we’ll have more info after Samsung’s press conference at MWC 2017, as the company will announce Galaxy S8 event date during MWC 2017. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will probably be the same in terms of the design, but the ‘Plus’ model will be considerably bigger. Both devices will ship with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, with Samsung’s custom UI on top of it, and you can also expect them to ship with QHD Super AMOLED displays. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC will fuel these two smartphones, and it is even possible that Samsung plans to introduce Exynos 9810-powered variants as well, for non-US markets, we’ll see.
