The Huawei P10 has now been spotted being benchmarked on GFXBench and as a result, adding further confirmation to the likely specs of the upcoming smartphone. According to the GFXBench listing, the Huawei P10 comes equipped with a 5.1-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Inside, you can expect to find 4GB RAM (listed as 3.6GB), 64GB internal storage (listed at 53GB) and a HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor (clocking at 2.3 GHz) running the show. This is in addition to a 12-megapixel (Listed as 11MP) rear camera, an 8-megapixel (listed as 7MP) front-facing camera and Android 7.0 (Nougat) out of the box.
Of course, the Huawei P10 has been the subject to a vast number of leaks lately and so there is not much in the way of new information listed here. Although, the specs do further confirm previous reports that had come through, which suggested an almost identical list of specs. So it does stand to reason that the specs listed here are very much what will be included when the smartphone is officially announced. Although, it is worth pointing out that recent rumors have suggested that more than one variant of the Huawei P10 could be announced. Therefore, while this listing states a 4GB RAM variant, there is every possibility that a more premium version touting increased storage and 6GB RAM will also be on the way. Which current indications seem to suggest will likely be the Huawei P10 Plus.
In fact, the rumors and leaking have been so frequent of late, that even the design of the Huawei P10 has now been largely confirmed. In addition to the usual leaked images that often come through, the Huawei P10 was also spotted passing through the FCC on more than one occasion. The latest of which included actual live images of the smartphone which further confirmed the various design points that are in play. Likewise, another recent leak did seem to confirm that the Huawei P10 will be available in a variety of colors, including green, blue and yellow. So while it is expected that the Huawei P10 will be officially unveiled during this year’s MWC 2017 event, much of what you can expect, is already known.
