The Ulefone Armor is a popular smartphone from Ulefone and now the company has confirmed plans for a follow-up device which is aptly named the Ulefone Armor 2. Among other things, the Ulefone Armor 2 will come packing a number of notable upgrades and in some respects, will actually lead the specs race. This is most notable in the processor department as Ulefone has confirmed that the Ulefone Armor 2 will come equipped with the newly-announced MediaTek Helio P25 processor (clocking at 2.5 GHz). Which will likely make the Ulefone Armor 2 the first device to come powered by this processor.
Unfortunately, Ulefone has yet to confirm many more of the specs or details of what can be expected with the Ulefone Armor 2. Although the company does note that in addition to the MediaTek Helio P25, it will also come packing 6GB RAM. Therefore, power will likely be one of the clear selling points with this smartphone. While the rest of the specs have yet to be confirmed, it does stand to reason that the Ulefone Armor 2 will also place a focus on storage and battery life and so it should be expected that these key areas are in line with the processor and RAM levels noted.
Of course, one of the main selling points with the original Ulefone Armor is that it was a device that was well protected against the elements and this seems likely to be a design point which will continue with the latest model, as the Ulefone Armor 2 will come equipped with an IP68 certification for protection against water and dust. Likewise, the attached images also seem to highlight that protection and durability will be key aspects with the Ulefone Armor 2. In addition, the images also highlight that the Ulefone Armor 2 will make use of a metal and plastic build, as well as additional hotkey functionality, due to the inclusion of six physical keys.
