T-Mobile just published a YouTube video in which its Senior Product Manager Desmond Smith is unboxing the LG G6 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona. The video is not only starring LG’s latest Android flagship but was also shot on the LG G6, Smith revealed. In just under two minutes, T-Mobile’s official manages to unpack and showcase all of the major features of LG’s new smartphone. While the video was obviously shot for promotional purposes, it doesn’t go easy on the dual camera setup of the LG G6. In fact, the unboxing part of the video was actually recorded in lighting conditions that are far from ideal. Still, the LG G6 seemingly holds its own and manages to ensure solid picture quality even though some minor image noise can certainly be seen in the footage after about 30 seconds.

The video is titled “The World’s Farthest Unboxing of the new LG G6” and was likely released as a part of T-Mobile and LG’s cross-promotional efforts seeing how the Un-carrier just announced that it will start retailing the LG G6 this spring. The company has yet to provide consumers with a specific release date and pricing details on the device, but more information is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks. In the meantime, you can check out T-Mobile’s unboxing of the LG G6 below.

The South Korean consumer electronics manufacturer debuted its latest Android flagship earlier today in Barcelona. During its press conference, the company revealed that the LG G6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 system-on-chip (SoC) and 4GB of RAM, in addition to boasting a 5.7-inch QHD display with an unusual aspect ratio of 18:9. The device will be available in 32GB and 64GB variants, though LG’s announcement seemingly implies that only the former will be available in the United States for the time being. On the bright side, consumers who want more than 32GB of storage space can simply opt to equip the LG G6 with a microSD card. The device is fueled by a 3,300mAh battery and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 solution. More information on the pricing and the availability of the LG G6 is bound to follow soon.
