Video: This OnePlus 4 Concept Comes With Thin Bezels, SD835

DBS Designing has just released a new concept design, this time around we get to check out the unofficial OnePlus 4 smartphone. The source has released this design through a YouTube video and a number of images, both of which are available below this article, in case you’re interested. That being said, this is one sleek-looking smartphone which is running Lineage OS and it is actually reminiscent of the OnePlus One, well, at least its back side is.

The source has envisioned this smartphone with really thin bezels, a dual-camera setup on the back and in several color variants. This smartphone comes in Metallic Black, Gold and Silver color variants. The phone is really, really thin, and it’s also waterproof. The fingerprint scanner / home key is placed below the phone’s display, and it is flanked by two capacitive keys. The Type-C USB port is located on the very bottom of this smartphone’s body, and is flanked by two speaker grills, we’re guessing that the source imagined this phone to sport two separate speakers. This smartphone sports a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, an 18-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 16-megapixel front-facing shooter. On top of all that, it is also equipped with an iris scanner, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor fuels the device. This OnePlus 4 concept comes in both 6GB and 8GB RAM variants with 128GB and 256GB of internal storage, respectively, and a 5,000mAh battery is included on the inside as well. OnePlus’ Dash Charge fast charging technology is, of course, included here as well.

The source does not mention what this smartphone is made of, but it seems to be a combination of glass and metal, at least based on the images that are shown off in the video. This handset will not become a reality, of course, but it’s hard to deny that it looks really nice, as it’s usually the case with concept renders. The OnePlus 4 is expected to land mid-year, at least if OnePlus intends on sticking to their release cycle. The OnePlus 4 rumors and leaks will probably start surfacing soon after MWC 2017, so stay tuned for that, we’ll keep you in the loop.
