Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S3 is their best Android tablet yet
This past week was Mobile World Congress, and as was expected Samsung revealed the Galaxy Tab S3, one of their newest tablets and the latest to run on Android. While many of Samsung’s tablets have been big hits with consumers, the Galaxy Tab S3 is their best Android tablet yet and brings a handful of new changes to the table that will entice both consumers looking simply for a nice tablet to add to their mobile device collection as well as those looking for an Android tablet that has productivity value.
On the inside, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is packed full with powerful specifications and hardware that will allow it to provide users with everything they need to make use of all that it has to offer. It’s got a 9.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor, along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. On the outside, the Galaxy Tab S3 features an exterior design that is not only the most gorgeous tablet that Samsung has ever put out, but it also feels surprisingly lightweight for the build. It’s thin metal frame makes it easy to slide into a bag and it carries a stunning glass back that screams premium, something which Samsung is usually known for with many of their high-end products.
For those that weren’t already aware, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S3 comes with their all-new S Pen, and it’s this particular feature which might actually provide the most value as it expands the functionality quite a bit. While it can easily be used for productivity purposes for those who tend to incorporate their tablets into their everyday worklife, it also lends itself well to anyone who simply likes to use their tablets for fun and creative purposes. The new S Pen feels extremely comfortable to hold and is a bit longer than past S Pens while also having a newly added clip at one end so it can be slipped and clipped into a pocket. It also comes along with a new set of features like the tilt technology that works seamlessly with apps like Adobe’s Photoshop to change the thickness and look of the chosen brush, and it doesn’t need to be charged.
In addition to the new S Pen, the Galaxy Tab S3 also features a set of four speakers that are tuned by AKG to offer up a hard to match sound quality, which makes this tablet perfect for entertainment. If you tend to enjoy music, videos, or games on your mobile devices, then the Galaxy Tab S3 surely won’t disappoint in this area as the combination of the big, beautiful screen and the excellent audio will make any form of media entertainment as enjoyable as can be.
Of course, the visuals can be downright amazing when you’re viewing the right types of content, as the display on the Galaxy Tab S3 supports HDR. Users will only notice this when they’re watching something that is formatted for screens with High Dynamic Range, but more of this type of content is being made available and it will really make a difference when watching movies or other video on the device. In addition to all that’s on offer within the tablet itself, Samsung is offering up a range of accessories that seek to enhance the value of the tablet, which include things like the flip cover which also works as a kickstand for propping up the device, making it a perfect companion for those who like to watch video, as well as the keyboard case which connects with the use of the pogo pins for anyone who might need to get some work done while on the go. Overall, the Galaxy Tab S3 has a lot to offer which is why we picked it for one of the Best Of MWC awards this year.
