Galaxy Note 8 Schematics Leak, Along With Its Partial Specs

The Galaxy Note 8 schematics have just surfaced. The Galaxy Note 8 is not scheduled to arrive for at least a couple more months, as the Galaxy S8 launch is right around the corner. Samsung’s Galaxy S8 flagship will be announced next Wednesday, and you can expect to see the Galaxy Note 8 hit the market in August or September. That being said, it may be a little early for the Galaxy Note 8 schematics, as we wonder how legit this leak is, but nonetheless, they’re here, read on.

If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll get to see the Galaxy Note 8’s alleged schematics, and the source also shared some specs for us to check out. According to the source, the Galaxy Note 8 will sport a 6.4-inch QHD+ or 4K Super AMOLED display, along with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Now, this phablet will be fueled by the Snapdragon 835 SoC, and another variant will be available, and it will ship with Samsung’s Exynos ‘9XXX’ chip, according to the source. Now, the Exynos 8895 is a Series 9 chip and was announced by Samsung a couple of weeks ago, those two processors will fuel the Galaxy S8, so by ‘Exynos 9XXX’, the source probably means the Exynos 8895, because Samsung almost certainly will not introduce yet another flagship processor this year. That being said, a 6.4-inch display might seem a little large for a Galaxy Note device, but do keep in mind that the Galaxy S8 Plus is rumored to ship with a 6.2-inch panel, so the Galaxy Note 8’s display will probably be slightly larger than that.

Now, the provided image shows off the alleged Galaxy Note 8 device, and as you can see, the phone comes with really thin bezels. Its side bezels are basically non-existent, while its upper and lower bezels are really, really thin. Now, looking at the sides of the device, you’ll be able to notice quite a few physical keys. The power / lock key is placed on the right-hand side, and interestingly enough, yet another such key is available on that side, and it seems to be a dedicated camera button, at least based on its placement. On the left side, you’ll get the volume up, volume down and ‘Bixby’ buttons. A Type-C USB port is placed on the bottom of the phone, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a speaker grill. The Galaxy Note 8 will sport a speaker grill on the top as well, it seems, and based on this image, it might also ship with an IR blaster, or something of the sort. All in all, this is a very interesting leak, though we wonder how accurate it is.
