Here's When & Where You Can Buy the Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus

The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are perhaps some of the most anticipated smartphones of 2017, at least so far. And now that they are official, many people are wondering when they can get their hands on one. Well we have the details on all of the carriers and retailers where the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will be available, and have compiled it all into one place. So you can decide whether you want to switch carriers, or even buy the smartphone outright, and use it on whatever carrier you’d like (perhaps even an MVNO).

AT&T

The nation’s second largest carrier, AT&T, will be offering up the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus on pre-order beginning March 30th and it’ll be priced at $750 and $850 respectively. Those that want to pick up the Galaxy S8 on AT&T Next can expect to pay $0 down and $25/month, or via AT&T Next Every Year can grab it for $31.25/month. When it comes to the Galaxy S8 Plus, it’s $28.34 on AT&T Next and AT&T Next Every Year will cost you $35.42.

AT&T also has a couple of great offers to help tempt you into picking up either of Samsung’s new products. You can get up to $750 in credits towards a second Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus. You can also get a free Gear VR headset with an Oculus content bundle, or pick up a Gear S3 for $49 on a 2-year contract. The final promotion allows you to pick up a Samsung Galaxy Tab E and/or a Gear S2 for $0.99 each on a new two-year agreement.

B&H Photo

B&H Photo will be offering up an unlocked version of both flagship smartphones from Samsung. This means the device will work on GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile, but you won’t be tied to a specific carrier. This is actually a good purchase for those that travel to other countries often. The company has not announced when the two devices will be available or what the prices will be just yet.
