Leak: Galaxy S8 Color Variants, Software, Bixby, And More

The Samsung Galaxy S8 day is finally here, the company’s flagship will launch later today, at 11AM EST (8AM PST, 4PM CET), and a ton of new leaks surfaced recently. Now, you’ll find quite a few images in the gallery down below, as we have a number of leaks to cover, so get ready. The first image in the gallery down below will let you take a look at the black, blue and green variants of the Galaxy S8 which surfaced recently. Do keep in mind that the lighting is not the best in this image, which is why the green color looks more like silver than green, but the source says it’s green, so… let’s take their word for it.

The second image in the gallery comes from @evleaks, and according to him, these are the three Galaxy S8 colors that Samsung will unleash in the US. As you can see, we’re looking at black, silver and purple color variants here. Now, this does not mean that other color variants will not become available in the US at some point, but if @evleaks is to be believed, these are the three colors we’ll get initially. The third image in the gallery lets you take a look at yet another real life shot of the Galaxy S8, this time it’s the black variant of the device, or Midnight Black, as it will allegedly be called. It’s easy to notice how curved the display is here, and the phone’s home screen and on-screen buttons are easily noticeable as well. The fourth image seems to confirm that an eye scanning software will be a part of this package, which is not exactly unexpected as the phone was rumored to ship with an iris scanner.

The fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth image in the gallery down below give us a better look at the company’s all-new Bixby assistant on the Galaxy S8. Bixby UI looks really nice, flat, and goes along with the rest of Samsung’s software, though these images contain some Korean characters, so we cannot really translate any of it. The ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth image lets you take a look at some additional software on the Galaxy S8. You can check out the phone’s Always On Display feature, Multi Window, Edge Screen functionality, and so on. That is more or less it, the phone will launch later today, and chances are we’ll see some additional leaks before now and then, so stay tuned.

UPDATE: three new real life images surfaced, showing off the Galaxy S8 (last three images in the gallery down below).
