Leak: Samsung Galaxy S8 Shown from Every Angle

The Samsung Galaxy S8 has seen its fair share of leaks, even though it’s not due to be officially unveiled for another 28 days, the Galaxy S8 has shown just about everything already. And now we have a new set of leaked images available. This time coming from BGR, they aren’t crystal clear, and still appear to be taken with an upgraded potato camera. As you can see in the images below, this is an AT&T model, seeing as there is a myAT&T app right there on the home screen. According to BGR, this is the smaller model of the two variants, also known as the standard Galaxy S8. This has a 5.8-inch display, as opposed to the larger 6.3-inch display that the Galaxy S8 Plus will sport.

According to BGR, there is a Snapdragon 835 running the show here, there’s also 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage included with a micro SD card slot. BGR notes that all models will be shipping with that RAM/storage combination. So the rumors of a 6GB and 128GB combination appear to be dead in the water, at least for the US if this holds true. The back of the device gets the 12-megapixel Dual Pixel camera, which is similar to what was found on the Galaxy S7 last year. There is a 8-megapixel front-facing shooter here for talking the all important selfies.

A few other things to note is the fact that the 3.5mm headphone jack is indeed included. There’s also a USB-C connector here, which is good, since the new Gear VR they announced at MWC this week with an included micro USB to USB-C adapter. The Galaxy S8 is still going to be water proof, rated at IP68, similar to the LG G6 which was also announced this week.

Samsung has already announced that they’ll be announcing this device at Unpacked later this month, on March 29th. They teased it during their MWC press conference on Sunday, and it’s going to be a pretty popular event in NYC. The Galaxy S8 is slated to go on sale in April, however no confirmation of that is available just yet.
