Yet another Galaxy S8 render surfaced, this time around we get to take a look at a Midnight Black variant of the Galaxy S8. There’s nothing new here, really, it’s just yet another render, just like the ones we’ve seen a number of times thus far. We’ve already seen this color variant of the phone, though we did not get a chance to take a look at such a clear render of this variant of the Galaxy S8 which shows off both sides of the phone. The device does look quite sleek here, as expected.
This render lets you take a clear look at the phone’s physical buttons on the sides. On the right side, you’ll notice the power / lock key, while there are several buttons on the left, the volume up, volume down and ‘Bixby’ buttons. As you can see, the display of the Galaxy S8 is curved on the sides, and a physical home key is nowhere to be found, Samsung has opted to include on-screen buttons here instead. This image also let you take a clear look at the phone’s fingerprint scanner, and also the main camera that is located next to it. On the other side of the rear-facing snapper, you’ll notice an LED flash sensor, and below it lies a heart rate sensor. The Galaxy S8 is made out of metal and glass, which is also easily noticeable here. There are two logos imprinted on the back of the device, Samsung’s logo, and the Galaxy S8 branding.
As most of you know by now, Samsung is planning to release a number of Galaxy S8 color variants, as a number of them leaked quite recently. Amongst other color variants, the Galaxy S8 will be available in both Blue and Purple variants, which look considerably different than the rest of them. The Galaxy S8 will sports a 5.8-inch 2960 x 1400 Super AMOLED Dual Edge display, if rumors are to be believed, and the phone will ship with 4GB of RAM. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC will fuel this phone in some regions, while the Exynos 8895 will take that job in some other markets. Android Nougat will come pre-installed on the Galaxy S8, and Samsung’s UI will be available on top of it, of course. The phone will launch on March 29, and the Galaxy S8 Plus will probably land on that day as well.
