OUKITEL Compares K6000 Plus, Xiaomi Mi 5, & iPhone 7 Cameras

The OUKITEL K6000 Plus is one of the newest smartphones to come from OUKITEL and among other things, looks to offer a heightened camera experience. Of course, this is a factor and selling point that many smartphones now look to offer as the importance of a smartphone’s camera abilities has consistently increased over the years. Which although is good for the industry as a whole, does mean that understanding the difference between different smartphone camera features can be a little hard to do, and even daunting at times. Especially when looking to understand which smartphone camera might be best-suited for your individual needs.

As a means to highlight what is on offer with the OUKITEL K6000 Plus, OUKITEL has now released a short comparison detailing the strengths of the camera on the K6000 Plus compared to the likes of the Xiaomi Mi 5 and the iPhone 7. For instance, the comparison highlights that like the Xiaomi Mi 5 and the K6000 Plus both come equipped with a 16-megapixel camera and the same f/2.0 aperture. Which is in contrast to the iPhone 7’s 12-megapixel and lower (but greater) f/1.8 aperture. Although the sensors on all three camera differ greatly, with the Xiaomi Mi 5 coming with a Sony IMX298, the iPhone 7 coming with an iSight sensor, and the K6000 Plus coming loaded with an OmniVision OV16880 sensor. With the comparison also highlighting that while the Xiaomi Mi 5 and the OUKITEL K6000 Plus both make use of PDAF for quicker focus, the iPhone 7 makes use of Focus Pixels. As well as all three devices making use of varying measures to combat anti-shake.

In addition to providing the greater insight into the comparable aspects of the camera on the K6000 Plus, OUKITEL has also released a new video which looks to highlight that in spite of the specs, the effects on offer with the K6000 Plus camera are what is worth focusing on. The video provides a more detailed comparison between the cameras on the three-mentioned smartphones, and you can check out the video comparison in full below.
