The OUKITEL K6000 Plus was recently announced by OUKITEL and along with its introduction came a brief explanation as to what can be expected with this latest OUKITEL smartphone. One of the main selling points is that this is a big smartphone and in particular, in the battery department. As the OUKITEL K6000 Plus comes packing a 6,080 mAh battery, a slight increase compared to the previous OUKITEL K6000 Pro – which in itself, came with a large battery.
Now, OUKITEL has provided some more details on what The Conquer – as OUKITEL likes to call it – will offer. For instance, the OUKITEL K6000 Plus will come equipped with a 5.5-inch display which makes use of an FHD resolution and Asahi glass. Along with a design and manufacturing process which has looked to ensure the OUKITEL K6000 Plus adopts a thin disposition, in spite of its size and larger than usual battery. So much so, that OUKITEL states the OUKITEL K6000 Plus is actually lighter and thinner than its predecessor, the OUKITEL K6000 Pro. Another confirmed feature is the 16-megapixel camera which will be found on the back of the device. According to OUKITEL, the rear camera employs an OmniVision 16880 sensor and makes use of PDAF for quicker and more accurate focusing. The front-facing camera on the other hand, is designed with selfies in mind, as it comes in an 8-megapixel from and includes an 80-degree wide angle lens.
Other features worth noting include the addition of a gyroscope (which actually marks a first for an OUKITEL phone), an included flash charger (which looks to offer a full battery refill in as little as one hour and forty minutes), a MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor, a front-positioned fingerprint sensor, and Android 7.0 (Nougat) out of the box. At the moment though, there are still no firm details on what the likely price of the OUKITEL K6000 Plus will be at launch.
