The Xiaomi Mi 6 has been leaking for months now, and a new leak has just surfaced in a form of new renders. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see three new images which are allegedly showing off the all-new Xiaomi Mi 6. Now, this design differs from what we’ve seen thus far, more or less every design that surfaced in the last couple of weeks is different from the one before it, which is quite odd.
In any case, the device leaked in white this time around, and as you can see, it’s made out of metal and glass, just like its predecessor. This handset comes with a dual camera setup on the back, which is flanked by a dual-LED, dual-tone flash. This Xiaomi Mi 6 model sports a home key below the display, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner, though we’re not sure if this is supposed to be a physical home key, or just a capacitive one. A Type-C USB port is placed on the bottom of the phone, and is flanked by a set of speaker grills. This smartphone sports a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top, and an IR blaster is available up there as well. Do keep in mind that it is quite possible this is just a concept render of some sort, at least based on the way these images look, but who knows, it may be real, as it does resemble the Xiaomi Mi 5 quite a bit, and is in accordance with most rumors that surfaced thus far.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 is actually rumored to land on April 11th, even though April 16th has been mentioned as well. The company is expected to introduce two Xiaomi Mi 6 models, the Xiaomi Mi 6 and the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus. The most powerful Xiaomi Mi 6 variant will be made out of ceramic, as per rumors, and the company’s upcoming flagship is expected to ship with the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core SoC, 4GB / 6GB of RAM and a 5.2-inch fullHD or QHD display. Android Nougat will come pre-installed on the phone, and on top of it, you’ll get Xiaomi’s MIUI 8 operating system, quite probably MIUI 8.3, though nothing has been confirmed just yet.
