The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is now available for a pre-order in the UK. Sony had introduced this smartphone during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona, and it is the company’s all-new flagship handset. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium can now be pre-ordered on Amazon UK and Clove UK, in case you were wondering. The phone is listed on Amazon UK for £649 ($790), and the listing says that it will become available on June 1st, while the device is listed for £640 ($779) on Clove UK’s website, and Clove states that you’ll be able to purchase the device in the first week of June, an exact date was not given by the company.
The Xperia XZ Premium is available in Black, or as Sony calls it, Deepsea Black, color variant on both Amazon UK and Clove UK. Now, in addition to these two companies, the Xperia XZ Premium is also listed on Unlocked Mobiles’ site for £639 ($778), and can be pre-ordered, and unlike Amazon UK and Clove UK, Unlocked Mobile also offers the device in Luminous Chrome color variant, in addition to the Deepsea Black option. Unlocked Mobiles does not mention when will the phone become available, however, so do keep that in mind. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium will become the first Snapdragon 835-powered smartphone to hit the market, at least according to Qualcomm. That being said, this is quite a powerful device, not only is it fueled by one of the most powerful chips out there at the moment, but it also packs in really powerful specs in other areas, and it is made out of metal and glass.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium sports a 5.46-inch 4K (3840 x 2160) Triluminos display which is HDR10 compliant, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The device is water and dust resistant, and its display is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5. With the Sony Xperia XZ Premium you’re also getting a set of stereo speakers, and a 3,230mAh non-removable battery. Fast charging (Quick Charge 3.0) is also included in this package, and a 19-megapixel snapper is placed on the back of this smartphone. Android 7.1 Nougat comes pre-installed on the Xperia XZ Premium, and on top of it, you’ll get some of Sony’s features, of course.
