Despite the fact this phone was announced over a year ago at this point, it’s definitely worth buying today. The Moto G5 is the smaller of the two devices, and is also inferior to the Moto G5 Plus, as it is fueled by the Snapdragon 430, and not the Snapdragon 625 that is ticking on the inside of the Moto G5 Plus. The LG V20 is LG’s flagship phablet for last year. This is still one of the more powerful devices out there, and if you’re looking for a phablet with two displays and a really good camera, the LG V20 might be the phone for you. This handset packs in 4GB of RAM, 32GB / 64GB of native storage and two 16-megapixel snappers on the back. 5. Honor 8

The Honor 8 is no longer Honor’s most powerful smartphone, as the Honor V9 and Honor 8 Pro (same phone for different markets) have been announced. The Honor 8 is, however, still a compelling offering, as it’s made out of metal and glass, while it sports 4GB of RAM and is fueled by the Kirin 950 64-bit octa-core processor. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have been announced, but they’re still not available for open purchase, so we can’t exactly put them on the list. The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, however, are still quite compelling, especially considering both of those phones are now a bit more affordable, due to the release of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. 2. OnePlus 3T

The OnePlus 5 might be on the way, but we’ll have to wait for that announcement for another couple of months. Luckily, however, the OnePlus 3T is still amongst the best smartphones out in the market. This metal-clad handset packs in a whopping 6GB of RAM, while it is fueled by the Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core processor. The device is upgradeable to Android Nougat, while it comes with a front-facing fingerprint scanner, AMOLED display and a 3,400mAh battery.
