Confirmed: LG G6 Is Coming To Europe On April 24

The LG G6 had been announced back in February as the company’s flagship smartphone, and the company just announced that the phone will become available in Europe starting on April 24. LG is already available for purchase in some regions, but not in Europe, well, that’s about to change soon, and LG also said that the phone will be available through 33 telecom carriers, including T-Mobile, Vodafone, Orange and Telefonica, amongst others.

Now, in addition to that, LG said that the first shipment will go to 24 countries, including Germany, France, Finland Sweden and the UK, but the company did share a full list of countries, unfortunately. The LG G6 hit South Korea, LG’s homeland, on March 10, while it arrived to the US on April 7. Now, Europe is next in line, and after it, LG plans to push the device to other Asian areas, Latin America, Middle East and Africa, though the company did not share a timeline for those launches. That is more or less all the info that the company shared with The Investor, all we can do at this point is wait for April 24, and see what happens, LG will, hopefully, release a full list of European countries where the phone will launch on April 24, or shortly after that.

The LG G6, as many of you already know, is a serious step away from the LG G5. The LG G5 was a semi-modular smartphone, and it did not meet LG’s expectations, well, the company is attempting to change that with the LG G6. The LG G6 comes with a metal + glass build, while it sports really thin bezels all around, and its display corners are rounded as well. Initial impressions are really good, and we’ve already reviewed the LG G6, just in case you’re interested in checking that out. This phone sports a 5.7-inch 2880 x 1440 display, 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of expandable internal storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core processor, and it comes with a 3,300mAh non-removable battery. Two 13-megapixel shooters are placed on the back of this phone, and Android 7.0 Nougat comes out of the box with LG’s custom UI.
