HTC’s Russian website has just outed the HTC One X10, perhaps unintentionally, as the landing page for the officially unannounced device is now live. The landing page for the new phone is complete with a collection of the device’s different features and hardware specifications, and of course there is plenty to see in regards to the phone’s design as well. Although it doesn’t appear to be listed on the website the image shows that the One X10 will come in at least two different colors, which includes Black and what appears to be either a silver or white color.
The HTC One X10 comes equipped with a 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution featuring 401 pixels per inch and it’s protected by Gorilla Glass. It features Dual SIM compatibility so it’s perfect for travel and it has a 4,000mAh battery, which no doubt plays into the near 2-day battery life that HTC is boasting on the website. The One X10 comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, autofocus, an f/2.0 aperture and a superior Pro mode with loads of camera options for users. HTC is also boasting that it takes great shots in low-light conditions which seems to be an increasingly important factor in smartphone photography these days. While the main camera is sure to be important to plenty of users, HTC has also equipped the One X10 with a decent front camera as it carries a fixed-focus 8-megapixel sensor with face detection and video selfie features, and a super wide-angle lens for getting everybody in one shot.
On the back the phone there is a fingerprint sensor so the phone can be unlocked using this particular method but the spec sheet doesn’t list NFC so it can’t be used for authorizing mobile payments using Android Pay. On the inside the One X10 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor, a CPU which HTC has already used in the U Play. The phone also comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space, with support for expandable storage up to 2TB via a microSD card, although 2TB microSD cards are not actually available. The phone also has BoomSound for the audio so users should be able to expect a decent sound experience for music and media, and it runs on HTC’s latest Sense interface, though the one thing that doesn’t seem to be listed here is what version of Android it’s running as the specs merely list “Android.” There is still no word yet on a release date or price, but with the page going live chance are a launch could be just around the corner.
