The Meizu E2 will be announced on April 26, and a new image of the device just surfaced. If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll get to see a new render of the Meizu E2, which confirms a rather odd-looking LED flash sensor on the back, and a camera that is protruding a bit. The company’s logo is placed on the back as well, and you also get to take a look at the phone’s physical keys on the right, and the device’s antenna bands. Unfortunately, only a picture of the phone’s back side surfaced, so that’s all we have for you today.
It’s easily noticeable that the Meizu E2 is made out of metal, just like a number of other Meizu-branded smartphones in the last couple of years. Meizu had already announced that the Meizu E2 will be announced in China on April 26, and this is definitely not the first Meizu E2 leak we’ve seen thus far. One such leak popped up a couple of days ago, though this design differs from the one we’ve seen on April 20, which is interesting. It remains to be seen which design is accurate, though it’s worth noting that some press materials and even a hands-on video leaked for the design that surfaced on April 20, so this new leak might be a bit off. Now, according to some leaked info, the Meizu E2 will ship in both 32GB and 64GB storage variants. The 32GB storage model is expected to ship with 3GB of RAM, while the 64GB storage variant will come with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM, we’re still not sure. The Meizu E2 pricing is expected to start at 1,699 Yuan ($247), according to some info that surfaced earlier, and the phone will sport a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, it seems.
A 13-megapixel shooter will be placed on the back of this smartphone, while a 5-megapixel snapper will be included on its front side, presuming leaked info is accurate, of course. This handset will be fueled by an octa-core SoC, though we still don’t know which one, it will probably be one of MediaTek’s processors, though. The Meizu E2 will either be an entry-level or a mid-range smartphone, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. The device will launch in only two days, but it is possible we’ll see some additional leaks by then, stay tuned.
