Karta GPS App Has Added Donald Trump To List Of Voiceovers

Karta GPS, the free open source navigation app has now added the voices of the current US President, Donald Trump, as well as the voice of former President Bill Clinton to its list of available voiceover options. Users of the app, which combines map information with helpful suggestions for local places of interest from Foursquare and Yelp, can now download the new voice options, which have been made with the help of impersonators, through the app. The Chief Executive Officer of Karta Software Technologies, João Neto said in a statement to the International Business Times, “When navigating with GPS you often have to hear some monotone voice explain when to take the next right or roundabout….With its new navigation voice options, current President Donald Trump and former President Bill Clinton will give you ample hours of entertainment and direction.”

With this app, users are able to download a whole map of a chosen country and save it in the device’s storage. This means they are able to navigate with ease, even when there is no internet connection available. Additionally, the app uses curated information from both FourSquare and Yelp to help people find popular destinations to visit during their journey. The most popular local places of entertainment and restaurants are displayed for users to see at a glance – removing the need to leave the app, open a new one and sort through hundreds of recommendations. The app also features alerts to help drivers avoid speeding tickets, an option to ‘save to favorites’ for favorite places, and a very useful smart search feature which takes into account common any spelling mistakes that a user may have made.

To add the voice of President-Elect Donald Trump to the app, go into Downloads, Voices, then View All and Premium, and scroll down until ‘Mr. President’ is visible and click on it – it’s the only free download currently available in the premium section. The Bill Clinton voice is also available from the same Premium section, but users will have to pay around $3.89 to download it. Apart from President-elect Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, there is a number of other free and premium voices that can be downloaded for use while traveling. The app is available for free download for both Android and iOS users – it launched in March this year and so far, boasts over one million active users.
