A set of leaked HTC U 11 renders show off a red model of the phone from all angles and it’s accompanied by a 360-degree which shows the phone being spun to view all angles of the phone in motion as opposed to just still images. While this is the first time that an actual red version of this phone has been seen in any capacity, it’s not the actual first look at the phone’s design itself. These images actually show the same design of the black model of the HTC U 11 which leaked back in April.
That being said, these renders provide much more detail than the previous image as you see more of the phone. With these renders you can see the bottom of the phone which reveals that the device will utilize USB Type-C and that it won’t have a 3.5mm audio port, thus further confirming (even if unofficially) that the HTC U 11 will not be able to use regular headphones unless plugged in through a USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter.
Other details that can be picked up from the renders are HTC’s use of what looks like the IR sensor on top next to the SIM card tray, and both the volume up and down buttons and power button will be on the right side of the device, while the left is kept clear of any buttons or open ports. The front camera, back camera, and sensors are all showing up in the same spot as previous render and image leaks too, so this could be as close to official pictures of the device that people will get until HTC reveals the phone on May 16th during their event. With these renders being fairly high resolution you can also see the bezels more clearly than ever before and it looks like the phone will still have some pretty noticeable bezels. There were no specs details to come along with the leaked renders but most of the specs have already been leaked, many of which were unofficially confirmed in our exclusive post from earlier this year which detailed the Edge Sensors, the Sense Companion, and many of the other features that will be included in the phone.
