Meizu M5c Is Official With 2GB Of RAM, HD Display & Flyme 6

The Meizu M5c is finally here, Meizu has introduced this smartphone during a press conference, following several teasers the company released lately. We’ve even shared an exclusive leak of this smartphone a couple of days ago, and that leak was spot on. In any case, the Meizu M5c is the company’s newest budget smartphone, as its name suggests (‘Meizu M’), and if you’d like to know more about this phone, read on.

The Meizu M5c is actually the company’s first international smartphone to ship with Flyme 6 out of the box. This smartphone comes with support for band 20 4G connectivity, which is something you’re not getting on the company’s Chinese phone units. The Meizu M5 is made out of polycarbonate, though Meizu claims this is “high-end polycarbonate”, and that “ultra-high precision CNC techniques were applied to the M5c”, which means that the phone should be really well built. The device comes in five color variants, Black, Gold, Red, Blue and Pink, and its specs are quite nice as well, as long as you keep in mind that this is a budget phone. The device sports a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display with ‘sophisticated GFF full-lamination technology’, while the phone packs in 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage. The Meizu M5c is fueled by a 64-bit quad-core SoC clocked at 1.3GHz, and a 3,000mAh battery is also a part of this package, and it is not removable.

Meizu’s Flyme 6 UI comes with the company’s new One Mind AI technology, which actually learns how you use your phone, and based on that allocates memory to your applications in order to deliver the best experience. The phone weighs 135 grams, and is only 8.3mm thick, while it comes with an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera which comes with a 4-element lens, and ISP technology. “We designed the Meizu M5c specifically with our international customers in mind,” said Li Nan, President of M-series. The company did not say when will you be able to purchase this phone, nor how much it costs, but the company’s devices are available in a number of countries around the world (China, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, France…), so the phone is expected to become available soon.
