Share Your Fitness Adventures With Strava’s Athlete Posts

Strava, a special fitness platform that caters to athletes, and the worldwide community of fitness enthusiasts can be better connected to one another soon through Athlete Posts. Athlete Posts is Strava’s very own blogging platform which enables its one million plus users to create and share their personal content with the world. Think of Athlete Posts as the go-to place whenever you want to check out the latest stories, workout routines and its results, race reports, and interesting fitness experiences. All of these will be sourced from notable names across different sporting disciplines such as Kelly Roberts, James Lawrence, and Lauren Fleshman. Athlete Posts can also be the place where you brag about your personal best to the world. Such open social sharing could be used in a positive manner, functioning as an exercise motivator to those who see it.

Strava has enlisted 36 sporting personalities to lead the way in Athlete Posts including Lauren Fleshman, Phil Gaimon, Caroline Gleich, James Poole and more. The level of curated information on Athlete Posts will be an invaluable tool for sporting enthusiasts to learn and grow in their respective fitness regimes. Athlete Posts is expected to launch later this summer, but no concrete release date is available at press time.

Strava has other features available to its user base that complements Athlete Posts, such as Club Events that makes it easier to coordinate meetups and Beacon. Club Events will allow other Strava users who share the same thought process to join clubs via the Strava smartphone app. From the app, users are able to check out the logged times of other members. This could serve as motivation for some, and a comment section keeps the entire experience interactive. The Beacon feature will enable the sharing of distance, speed, and caloric expenditure in real time. With Athlete Posts, it carries the promise of expanding the social networking scope of Strava where the fitness enthusiast market is concerned. Athlete Posts is available within the Strava app that is available for both Android and iOS. The updated app should be rolling out now, and over the next few days.
