The Google Pixel 2 is one of the most anticipated smartphones of this year, and a new concept design of this smartphone has just surfaced. This time around we get to see a new video which is showing off the concept Google Pixel 2 handset, and this video comes from a YouTube channel called ‘Concept Creator’. This YouTube channel released quite a few concept designs in the last couple of weeks, and the Google Pixel 2 concept that we’re here to talk about looks really nice, read on.
This phone seems to be made out of metal and glass, and its back side is curved. There are two camera snappers on the back of this smartphone, and they’re included in a vertical setup. Below the dual camera setup, you will notice a dual LED flash, and a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. Google’s logo is also easily noticeable on the back of this phone, and the device volume up and volume down buttons are placed on the left side of this smartphone’s body. The power / lock key can be found on the right, and there are two camera snappers on the front side of this concept Google Pixel 2 smartphone as well. A dual speaker setup is included here as well, and side bezels are almost non-existent. Now, in addition to releasing this concept design, the source also shared some specs, which are also purely fictional, as is this design.
This concept smartphone is fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor, along with the Adreno 540 GPU for graphics processing. The real Google Pixel 2 handset will probably be fueled by this very same SoC, in case you were wondering. This concept phone features a 5.6-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) AMOLED display (18:9 aspect ratio) with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top of it. Two 12-megapixel shooters (f/1.7 aperture, 1.65um pixel size) are included on the back, while the phone packs in 6GB of RAM and 32GB / 128GB of expandable internal storage. Fast charging is also listed by the source, so is wireless charging. A Type-C USB port is also included in this package, of course, and so is Android 8. Interestingly enough, a 3.5mm headphone jack has also found its place here, and many people are hoping that the real Google Pixel 2 will also sport that audio jack.
