Video: This OnePlus 5 Concept Is Made Out Of Metal And Glass

A new OnePlus 5 concept video has just surfaced on YouTube, this time around it has been shared by TechDroider. Now, this is not the first OnePlus 5 concept video that we’ve seen, as one surfaced a while back, not to mention that the OnePlus 5-related rumors and leaks have been popping up like crazy recently. In any case, the design that you can see in TechDroider’s video is somewhat different than the other designs we’ve seen thus far, read on.

If you take a look at the provided video down below, you’ll be able to see a device which is reminiscent to the OnePlus X in terms of the design, well, at least to some extent. This phone actually looks like a combination between the OnePlus 3(T), OnePlus X and the Galaxy S8. As you can see, the phone is made out of metal and glass, and it sports a dual camera setup on the back, where you can also find the company’s branding. The phone comes with chamfered edges, while its display is rounded, like it is on the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus and the LG G6. The volume up and volume down keys are placed on the right-hand side of the device this time around, and the power / lock key is placed below them. OnePlus’ alert slider is making a comeback here, and it is, once again, located on the left-hand side of the device. As you can see, bezels on this phone are really thin, and the fingerprint scanner / home key makes a comeback, and it actually resembles the fingerprint scanner OnePlus used in the OnePlus 3(T).

Now, the source did not share any specifications along with this smartphone, but if rumors are to be believed, the OnePlus 5 will sport a 5.5-inch fullHD or QHD AMOLED display, 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of native storage. The phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor, while it will ship with a 16-megapixel front-facing shooter. Android Nougat will come pre-installed on the device, and on top of it, you’ll get OnePlus’ OxygenOS skin, of course. The OnePlus 5 is expected to land next month, so stay tuned.
