Anker's SoundCore Boost Debuts with 20W of High-Fidelity Audio

Anker has just announced yet another Bluetooth speaker for its lineup. This is the SoundCore Boost, which comes just a few weeks after the company announced the SoundCore 2. The SoundCore Boost, as you might expect from the name, is a more powerful speaker, and thus has shorter battery life. Anker quotes it as playing for about 12 hours, or 250 songs. That’s still pretty good for the size of this Bluetooth speaker, and the fact that it sports dual drivers and twin subwoofers. These subwoofers and drivers deliver 20W of high-fidelity audio. The SoundCore Boost can also fill most rooms with music, including some larger ones. This is great for those that are throwing parties this summer.

The SoundCore Boost includes Anker’s own BassUp technology. This means that you’ll be getting some pretty incredible lows when listening to music and such. Now since we don’t have one in to review just yet, it’s hard to say how good the mids and highs will be, but it appears that the BassUp technology does work really well with lows, but still offers some crystal clear mids and highs. This is also a high-fidelity speaker, so audiophiles will be more than happy with this speaker, especially at its price.

Speaking of pricing, the SoundCore Boost comes in at just $79.99. That’s one of Anker’s more expensive Bluetooth speakers, but given the fact that it has a ton of power and does offer high-fidelity audio, it’s still worth picking up. Anker does also note that the SoundCore Boost is IPX5 water-resistance. This means that it can handle water, and be submerged for up to 30 minutes, but not much more than that. This means that you can take the SoundCore Boost over to the pool and enjoy some tunes, or even to the beach. Anker does offer up a 18-month warranty with the SoundCore Boost, so that if anything happens to the Bluetooth speaker, they’ll have you covered. The Anker SoundCore Boost is shipping now on Amazon, and it’s only being sold at Amazon. It is also shipping via Amazon Prime, so you could have it as early as tomorrow, if you pay $3.99 for next-day shipping.
