Five Possible OnePlus 5 Colors Shown In Newly Leaked Render

A render depicting five possible color variants of the OnePlus 5 surfaced online on Friday, showing a broad range of vastly different colors, most of which are rather vivid. The latest OnePlus 5-related leak shows the device in black, red, blue, green, and purple, with all models featuring a matte finish that was already hinted at by the Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer. All of the colors that can be seen above have already been leaked on a number of occasions, albeit not together, with may previously sighted renders of the device only showing individual color variants.

The latest leak gives more credence to recent reports that the BBK Electronics-owned phone maker is planning to offer the OnePlus 5 in a wide range of colors in an effort to provide consumers with as much choice as possible, marking a noticeable change to its current product strategy that led it to release its previous devices in only a couple of variations. Even if all of the aforementioned variants end up being legitimate, it’s still unclear whether the Shenzhen, Guangdong-based original equipment manufacturer (OEM) will offer both models of the handset in all colors or if it will save certain colors for individual models. According to a number of earlier reports, the OnePlus 5 is set to be offered in two variants boasting 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal flash memory and 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space, respectively. The former is said to be priced at around $515, while the later should set you back approximately $590.

Other key specs of the OnePlus 5 include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 system-on-chip and a 5.5-inch display panel with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels. The upcoming handset is unlikely to feature a microSD card slot but will sport a dual camera setup with two horizontally arranged sensors and a dual LED, dual tone flash unit on its rear panel, the Chinese OEM previously confirmed. More details on the OnePlus 5 are expected to follow in the coming days as the company is currently in the process of teasing the device in the run-up to its official unveiling that’s scheduled to take place on June 20.
