Mophie Now Has Galaxy S8/Galaxy S8+ Charge Force Cases

Mophie now has Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Charge Force cases available for those who have either device and want some additional wireless charging options. Since the two latest flagship smartphones from Samsung already have wireless charging built-in, these serve as a means for protecting the devices while still keeping that wireless charging intact and available to use if you prefer to charge your smartphones this way. Each version of the case provides the same exact features and benefits to its respective phones as the other, though there are a few specs which are slightly different.

For example, the Mophie Charge Force case for the Galaxy S8 only provides up to 33 hours of additional battery life to the phone compared to the up to 39 hours of additional battery life that is provided to the Galaxy S8+. The reason for this though is because the Galaxy S8+ model has a larger internal battery, as this version of the case has a built-in battery with a 3,300mAh capacity compared to 2,950mAh on the Galaxy S8 model, and this is due to the different size batteries in each phone.

The cool thing is that Mophie is charging the same amount for each case as they both come out at a price of $99.95, so if you have the slightly larger Galaxy S8+ you won’t be paying more for this case. These cases don’t add too much bulk as Mophie boasts they have an ultra-thin design, and they’re compatible with Mophie’s various Charge Force accessory add-ons like the Desk Mount, Air Vent Mount, Wireless Charging Base and others. The cases only come in Black so they don’t have matching color options to go with the other device colors, but that doesn’t mean they won’t look good on all color options. The cases are available from Mophie’s website and they’re already in stock, though the Galaxy S8 model is already available from Amazon as well, and both cases support the magnetic positioning so they latch onto the different accessories easily without having to worry that they’ll detach themselves. Both of these cases also support pass through ports if you end up needing to charge the phone using the USB Type-C charging cable instead.
