Rumored India prices have leaked for the Moto Z2 Force and a couple of other phones recently. According to the leak, the Moto Z2 Force will cost Rs 38999, which is bout $605 USD. For a flagship phone that seems like a logical price point, but it’s also important to keep in mind that these are just rumored prices, and even if the prices are correct they’re still for the Indian market, and actual US prices are likely to be slightly different than the converted amounts.
That said, the rumored prices were also leaked for two of Moto’s other devices. The Moto G5S Plus, and the Moto X4, or simply the latest version of the Moto X that is supposed to be launching later on this year. According to the rumor, the prices for each of these devices will be Rs 17999 and Rs 20999 respectively, which is about $280, and $326. Again, since these prices are based on the conversion from the Indian Rupee to the US Dollar, the prices are not likely to be exact matches of what the costs would be in the US, but they are likely to be close to that price point if the rumored costs for each of the phones in India is correct.
The Moto Z2 family of devices has only seen one device confirmation so far, the Moto Z2 Play, which was unveiled in India with pre-orders for that device having gone live as of yesterday. As for the Moto X4, for a while it wasn’t clear if Motorola and Lenovo were going to put out a Moto X device this year, but then leaked images of the new Moto X surfaced online during an event, in which slides were being shown that detailed not only the design of the new Moto X model, but also some of the hardware specifications. There’s no mention just yet of when these new Moto devices will launch nor has it been mentioned what the official prices will be. It’s possible that Motorola and Lenovo will hold a press conference later in the year to showcase the new phones, at which time the prices, or at least the launch dates, are a little more likely to be revealed.
