The Galaxy Note 8 is one of the most anticipated smartphones of this year, and a new render of the device just surfaced. Now, do take this leak with a grain of salt, as it could be only a concept design of the device, even though it looks at least somewhat realistic, as it resembles the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus quite a bit. This handset sports the Infinity display which is included in the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus, bezels are cut down to a minimum, and the fingerprint scanner is nowhere to be found, which suggests it is built into the display itself.
Now, if you take a look at the back side of this handset, you will notice that it sports a dual camera setup, and those cameras are vertically aligned. Below the two cameras, lies a dual-LED, dual tone flash, and the company’s branding, while the back side of the phone is curved. The power / lock key is present on the right, while the volume up, volume down and Bixby buttons can be found on the left. A SIM card tray is placed on the top of the device, along with a noise canceling microphone, while a 3.5mm headphone jack lies on the bottom, next to a Type-C USB port, the phone’s loudspeaker, and the S Pen stylus. This phone seems to be made out of metal and glass, just like the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus. Now, another interesting tidbit, AKG’s branding is also present on the back of the device, and it is easily visible.
As already mentioned, take this leak with a grain of salt, it is likely that the Galaxy Note 8 will resemble this device, but it’s also quite possible that this is not the phone’s final design. The Galaxy Note 8 will probably land in August, or perhaps during iFA in Berlin in September, we’ll see. Samsung is planning to make up for the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco by releasing a truly stunning successor to that phablet, and it’ll be interesting to see what exactly is the company planning. The Galaxy Note 8 rumors and leaks are already coming in, and that will only become more intensive as the launch date nears, so get ready.
