Hisense has just announced its new smartphone, the Hisense Hali. This is the company’s first smartphone which comes with a display that sports an 18:9 aspect ratio. The Hisense Hali is made out of metal and glass, and it looks more expensive than it actually is, at least in the provided renders. The phone sports a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, while it doesn’t have any buttons below the display, this phone utilizes on-screen keys, and its display sports rounded corners. All the physical buttons are placed on the right-hand side of this smartphone, while its SIM card tray is placed on the left.
Now, as far as specs are concerned, the Hisense Hali is actually a mid-range phone, even though some might push it to the entry-level category due to its processor. The Hisense Hali is fueled by the Snapdragon 430 64-bit octa-core SoC, which is Qualcomm’s entry-level chip. The device sports a 5.99-inch HD+ (1440 x 720) display, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. The Hisense Hali comes with a dual SIM setup as well, and it offers 4G LTE connectivity, in case you were wondering. A 12-megapixel snapper (1.25um pixel size, PDAF) is placed on the back of this smartphone, while you will find a 16-megapixel shooter on the phone’s front side. This front-facer comes with a number of software enhancement which are supposed to help you create better selfies, while voice capture and smile detection features are also included in the package. A 3,400mAh battery is also included in this package, while you will find a 3.5mm headphone jack on this phone, and also an IR blaster which is placed at the very top of the device.
The Hisense Hali comes in Coral Blue, Exquisite Gold and Star Black color variants, though only the Star Black variant is available for purchase at the moment. If you’re interested in getting this phone, and you happen to live in India, you can purchase it from TMall.com for 1,399 Yuan ($210) at the moment. We’re still not sure when will the other two color variants land, but chances are that those two models will be available for purchase in the near future as well.
