New OnePlus 6 Concept Surfaces, Sports A Dual Camera Setup

The OnePlus 6 probably won’t launch until next year, and while we’re waiting for some info to leak regarding OnePlus’ upcoming flagship, a third-party concept design for this smartphone has just surfaced. If you take a look at the video down below, you will be able to this OnePlus 6 concept, which was created by DBS DESIGNING. You will immediately notice that this phone is considerably different-looking than the OnePlus 5, though that’s not all that surprising.

The real OnePlus 6 probably won’t resemble this concept design all that much, but this is one nice looking phone, that’s for sure, as it’s usually the case with concept designs. A dual camera setup is placed on the back of this phone, and it’s vertically aligned, while there are no physical buttons on the front of this phone, same can be said for capacitive ones as well. This concept phone actually sports an in-display fingerprint scanner, and it comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. A USB Type-C port is placed on the bottom of this phone, where its loudspeaker lies as well. The device seems to be made out of metal, but the source did clarify any of it, which is not that surprising considering this is just a concept phone. Now, DBS DESIGNING also envisioned some specs for this phone, so this imaginary smartphone sports a 5.7-inch QHD+ display, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. The device comes with a 3,500mAh battery (with Dash Charge), while the phone is IP68 certified. Two 16-megapixel snappers are placed on the back of this phone, while a single 13-megapixel camera can be found on its front side. In terms of its processor, the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this smartphone.

Now, a recent rumor claimed that OnePlus has no plans to introduce the OnePlus 5T this year, and that the OnePlus 6 will launch early this year. On the other hand, several new leaks had suggested that the company will introduce the OnePlus 5T soon, and the phone’s design leaked as well, it will, allegedly, look almost identical to the upcoming OPPO F5 smartphone, and it will also resemble the Vivo X20. It is hard to say which rumor / leak is legit, but we’ll just have to wait and see what happens, both scenarios are possible, of course. It’s worth noting that the upcoming OnePlus-branded flagship, no matter what its name ends up being, will sport really thin bezels, and it will probably be made out of metal, just like its predecessor.
