Samsung Posts Galaxy Note 8 Security Features Tutorial Video

Samsung has just posted a new video which shows you how to keep your Galaxy Note 8 secure. This video has been published on the Samsung Mobile USA YouTube channel, and it has a duration of 2 minutes and 18 seconds. This is essentially a tutorial which will show you all the security aspects of the Galaxy Note 8. First things that the video talks about is setting up a lock screen pattern or a PIN code, whichever you prefer. Now, your lock screen pattern / PIN can either be your main form of protection, or your fallback option, but in any case, you’ll be required to set it up if you plan to use any sort security lock on the Galaxy Note 8.

From this point on, you have three other security option. Just in case you’d like to use something other than a PIN code / lock screen pattern, you can set up a fingerprint scanner which is located on the back of the phone, you can use the phone’s built-in iris scanner, or face recognition, all of those are extra security methods using which you can unlock your device. This video will show you how to set up all of those security methods, step-by-step, just in case you’re not really tech savvy or simply don’t want to dig around the phone’s settings in order to figure it out on your own. That is more or less it as far as this video goes. As most of you probably already know at this point, Samsung had released quite a few promo ads for the Galaxy Note 8, and this one is somewhat different than the previous ones, as this is you plain old tutorial, not much more than that, but some people will probably find it useful.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was announced back in August, and it is available in a number of countries around the world. This is Samsung’s most expensive smartphone, and also the most powerful one at the same time. The Galaxy Note 8 is made out of metal and glass, it comes with the S Pen stylus, and it actually comes in two SoC variants, depending on where you buy it. This smartphone packs in 6GB of RAM, and it sports a curved display, while it also comes with really thin bezels.
