If you own the NVIDIA SHIELD 2015 or 2017 and are in need of some new gaming options then it looks like you are in luck as NVIDIA has now started a special Halloween sale on a wide selection of games. With this being a Halloween-themed sale though it is not one that will be on for long. So those interested in purchasing any of these games will need to do so on or before October 31, as once Halloween night comes to an end, so will the sale.
In total there are 10 games now being discounted. Two of which are specific to GeForce NOW and so will only be accessible to owners of GeForce NOW-compatible devices. The first of those games is Deadlight Director’s Cut – this one would normally cost $11.99 although it is currently seeing a massive 80-percent discount with its sale pricing coming in at $2.39. The second GeForce NOW title is The Guest and this one is seeing a discount of approximately two-thirds, with its $9.99 price reduced down to only $3.39.
The other 8 games are all Android games and so you may find that a few of these are also available on other Android devices (at the reduced prices) as well – this goes for Android mobile as well as other Android TV devices. However, most of them, and certainly most of the bigger titles, will be exclusive to SHIELD devices. In either case, and for those looking to max out on the percentage savings then Burn Zombie Burn is the one gaining the biggest discount (60-percent) down from its usual $3.50 price to its sale price of $1.39. Technically speaking, while the others are offering a lower saving in percentage-terms, in real money terms, they do offer bigger savings. For example, Resident Evil 5 and Doom 3 BFG Edition are both getting a 50-percent discount down from their usual $9.99 price to $4.99. While Whispering Willows and Killing Floor Calamity are also being documented by 50-percent down to $2.49. Haunt the House: Terrortown gets a 50-percent drop in price down to $0.99 while Space Hulk drops down from $11.99 to $5.99. Closing out the list is The Final Station which is seeing the biggest price drop of all, down from $14.99 to $7.49.
