Along with a number of other hardware products, Google today introduced its latest Chromebook option, the Google Pixelbook. Following the main announcement Google has also now released a number new videos to help new and/or interested buyers get better acquainted with the Pixelbook, and what it can do.
Overall, Google has released five new videos which each run for about 1-2 minutes and provide some insight into various aspects of the Pixelbook. For example, the first of the five videos is the general ‘Getting Started’ video, while some of the other videos focus more closely on specific aspects and features, such as using Android apps on the Pixelbook, or how to manage and access files and photos with the Pixelbook. However, in addition to those five videos, Google has also released a fuller sixth video which runs for just over three minutes and is more of a combination of the main aspects detailed in each of the five videos. In short, you can either watch all five of the individual videos for a more detailed look at each aspect, or just check out the main ‘Welcome to your Pixelbook’ video below.
As for the Pixelbook, this is not only a new Chromebook but one which looks to showcase how feature-rich the Chrome OS experience can be. As the Pixelbook combines a premium design and build quality with a wealth of impressive specs and even showcases a ‘first’ for Chrome OS. As the Pixelbook is the first Chromebook to come equipped with Google Assistant. In fact, it even has a dedicated button included on the keyboard for easier access to Google Assistant – also covered in the video. Likewise, in spite of being a spec heavy and design-focused Chromebook, the Pixelbook is also designed to be as portable as possible, boasting a very lightweight body, a 12.3-inch display, and a rotating hinge which allows the Pixelbook to be used in a multitude of different positions – including in a tablet mode. Which is before even considering the Pixelbook is also compatible with the ‘Pixelbook Pen’ – a stylus made specifically for the Pixelbook. Again, check out the video(s) below for more information on the Pixelbook, the Google Assistant on Chromebooks, and the Pixelbook Pen.
