Specifications: HTC U11 Plus

HTC had introduced two new smartphones earlier today, the HTC U11 Plus and U11 Life. The first phone is actually the company’s flagship handset, and following our initial announcement, we’re here to talk more about its specifications. The HTC U11 Plus is quite a powerful phones, it comes with all the latest and greatest specs, and it is made out of metal and glass. Having said that, let’s see what it has to offer in the spec department, shall we.

The HTC U11 Plus comes with a 6-inch QHD+ (2880 x 1440) Super LCD 6 display, while Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 protection is applied on top of it. The HTC U11 Plus is fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor which is clocked at 2.45GHz, and which comes with the Adreno 540 GPU. The HTC U11 Plus is IP68 certified for water and dust resistant, while a fingerprint scanner lies on its back. The HTC U11 Plus comes in both 4GB and 6GB RAM variants, which ship with 64GB and 128GB of expandable storage, respectively, and their availability will vary from one region to the other. On the back of the HTC U11 Plus, you will find a 12.2-megapixel UltraPixel 3 camera (1.4um pixel size, BSI sensor, UltraSpeed Autofocus, OIS, f/1.7 aperture), and a dual-LED, dual-tone flash. An 8-megapixel snapper (BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture) is included on the front side of the device, and this is a wide-angle lens we’re looking at, an 85-degree wide-angle lens, to be more accurate.

In terms of audio, HTC has included its BoomSound speakers here (Hi-Fi edition), while you’re also getting Hi-Res audio stereo recording, and HTC USonic with Active Noise Cancellation. A 24-bit LDAC is also included in this package, and the phone is Hi-Res audio certified. The device comes in both single SIM and dual SIM variants (nano SIM), while it offers support for 4G LTE connectivity, of course. The HTC U11 Plus supports both TDD LTE (Bands 38, 39, 40 and 41) and FDD LTE (1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 20, 28 and 32), while it comes with Cat. 15 LTE, which will provide you with download speeds up to 800Mbps, and upload speeds up to 150Mbps. Wi-Fi calling and VoLTE are included in this package (where supported), and Bluetooth 5.0 is also included in the package. USB 3.1 Type-C port is placed on the bottom of the device, and NFC is included as well. A 3,930mAh non-removable battery is also a part of this package, while Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging tech is in charge of recharging the phone. Android 8.0 Oreo comes pre-installed on the phone, with HTC’s Sense UI on top of it. The device measures 158.5 x 74.9 x 8.5mm, while it weighs 188 grams.
