The holidays are coming up pretty quickly, and Amazon wants to make sure that it has your back, and get your gifts in time for the holidays. So it has launched a new Delivery Countdown calendar for December. With different dates for getting gifts before Christmas on December 25th. It breaks it down for Prime and non-Prime members, so it’s easy to see when you need to get your gifts ordered so that they’ll be here in time.
The first deadline is December 15th, which is the day after Amazon’s 12 Days of Deals ends. This is the last day to get free shipping on orders of $25 or more and have it delivered in time. This is for those that don’t have Prime, obviously those with Prime have a later deadline since they get free two-day shipping. The last day for standard shipping, again non-Prime shipping, is December 18th. Those of you with Amazon Prime, your deadline is going to be December 22nd. That’s Friday, and two-day shipping will have it arrive on Sunday (yes, Amazon does deliver on Sunday in almost all areas, thanks to its partnership with USPS). Those that do have one-day shipping on Sunday (order Saturday, delivery on Sunday), your deadline will be Saturday, December 23rd. This isn’t available in all areas, so you’ll want to check out Amazon’s website for the complete details. Finally, those that are super last minute, you can still pick up things on December 25th (or the 24th). But it’ll be digital items like gift cards, digital video games that users can download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, etc, or the gift of Amazon Prime.
